The opening meeting of the “Business for Goals” platform established to increase the loyalty and compliance with the objectives of sustainable development of the private sector in Turkey by TÜRKONFED, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and TÜSİAD, was held at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul Hotel on Friday, January 11, with the presentation of Ümit Boyner, Chairman of the Board. Attending the opening meeting, Kadooğlu Holding Board Member Nergiz Kadooğlu Çiftçi came together with TÜSİAD Board Chairman Erol Bilecik, Chairman of the Board of the platform, Ümit Boyner, Yasemin Açık, Vice President of TÜRKONFED and made evaluations to strengthen the role that Kadooğlu Holding can undertake to achieve global goals.

Sustainable Development Goals for the Business World

In September 2015, 193 member states of the United Nations adopted a plan to achieve a better future for all; a roadmap has drawn to end extreme poverty, combat inequality and injustice, and protect our planet over the next 15 years. At the heart of the “2030 Agenda”, which is organized for all nations and without leaving anyone behind, are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that clearly define the world we desire.
